Hunter’s Hope Ministry offers emotional and spiritual healing to families who have suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage or stillbirth. This healing is found in the hope of Jesus Christ, and is contained in Hunter’s Hope care packages that are distributed to grieving mothers at the time of their loss.

Our History
Hunter’s Hope Ministry was born through a simple journal entry on February 14, 2018, from a believing mama who had suffered a miscarriage.
The journal entry read in part, “For you, precious baby boy, all for the glory of God,” and contained the Scripture, “But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation” (2 Cor. 1:6). It ended with the prayer, “Lord, please use Hunter’s life and the comfort you gave me to bring about comfort and salvation to those who are mourning the loss of their babies.”
Each Hunter’s Hope care package proclaims the Gospel, is covered in prayer, and honors babies who have gone to be with the Lord. The first Hunter’s Hope care package was delivered on April 17, 2018.
What We Do
Hunter’s Hope volunteers lovingly create our exclusive items in honor of babies who are already with the Lord. These items are then placed with the Bibles, books, and printed materials and assembled into beautiful Hunter’s Hope care packages for distribution to grieving moms.
Before the care packages leave Hunter’s Hope, every package and every mother who will be receiving a package are covered in prayer by the Hunter’s Hope team and volunteers.
Each Hunter’s Hope care package includes:
- A letter from the founder of Hunter’s Hope Ministry, Connie Perrin, to each mother
- Hunter’s Story: A Missionary at 16 Weeks, the story of Hunter Perrin
- Mommy, Please Don’t Cry: There Are No Tears in Heaven by Linda DeYmaz, a tender book that assists mothers with their grieving
- A handwritten note of encouragement from another mom who has experienced the loss of a child
- “The Lord” encouragement card proclaiming who the Lord is and all He can and will provide
- A pocket-size New Testament to have as a keepsake or for the nurses to place the baby’s footprints in
- Dedication cards honoring children who are with the Lord
- A dedication request card giving each mother the opportunity to have their child become a missionary with Hunter’s Hope, and to have an item made in memory of their baby and included in a future Hunter’s Hope care package
Mothers with pregnancies over 17 weeks are also provided exclusive Hunter’s Hope items from one or more of the following categories:
- Swaddles or crocheted cradles for the nurses to wrap the babies in before they are taken to the family to say goodbye
- Gospel blankets explaining the hope of Jesus and providing Scripture references
- Baby gowns for the mothers to have as a keepsake or to bury their baby in

Each Hunter’s Hope care package includes the Gospel of Jesus Christ in several forms. The care packages are provided free of charge to medical facilities where they are distributed to each mother at their time of loss.
Included in every care package is the opportunity for each family to partner with Hunter’s Hope by having a beautiful item made in memory of their sweet baby and added to a future Hunter’s Hope care package. In this way, Hunter’s Hope families lovingly send their children out as missionaries to share the hope, love, and comfort of Jesus Christ with other families who are suffering the same deep grief that they’ve already known.
A note to mamas from Connie Perrin, founder of Hunter’s Hope Ministry:

If the mama does not know Jesus as her Savior, God could use your little one to introduce that mama to Jesus. Just think of it.
